Hopefully, it maybe helpful for someone, Im sure there is a better way of fixing this limitation.Before anything else, you should absolutely check the hardware for obvious problems first. I would like to also add that I am new to FUSION 360 and just wanted to put my experience out there. Maybe in the future if 3DCONNECTION CAD mouse integrates better with MACBOOK AIR 2021 and updates from microUSB and USB-A dongle I will look into their products, even their SPACE MOUSE WIRELESS. I don't understand why the PAN and ORBIT function have been so difficult to coincide as mouse functions with Logitech and Fusion360. I also tried assigning shift to one of the mouse buttons to be able to invoke orbit with the middle mouse button and for some reason that doesn't work. there you can type in PAN, then ORBIT and select the little up arrow to add as shortcut ( as shown in screen shot below).Ĭhanging the preferences in fusion 360 to Tinkercad option did allow to pan with middle mouse button press down and orbit using the right hand mouse button but then I couldn't right click for options on Fusion desktop. The S key will bring up the Fusion 360 search box. Then Assign middle mouse option button to "S" (did not work assigning to other mouse buttons for some reason). After changing many settings I found that leaving the fusion 360 preferences alone, down loading the new NEW LOGITECH MX OPTION+ (BETA) - DEC 2021. I have MACBOOK AIR (2021 m1) with the Logitech MX Master 3 and been trying to assign BOTH the Pan and Orbit function on the mouse with NO KEYBOARD INPUT.
